What is life?
It is a sliver of time,
A gift for each of us.
So precious,
So fragile;
Cherished and coveted by all.

What is time?
It’s the seed of happiness,
A cure for sorrow,
A measure of all that we have
And all that we desire;
The seam between life and love.

What is love?
It is the need to belong,
A desire to be whole,
The beliefs that we hold,
And the feelings we share
That color our world.

What is we?
It is the future we see,
When only I
Look at only you;
A time for both of us
To share our lives with love.
